Speed up the video on your canvas, up to 50x

1. Select a video

   Open Video Speeder from the Apps panel and select one video in your design.

2. Choose a speed

   Anything from 2x to 50x, on the slider or with a preset. Paid plans add Balanced and Best quality and reverse playback.

3. Speed up

   The video is processed on our server and the sped up version replaces the one you selected. Turn on Keep original to add it as a new element instead.

Prices are in US dollars and include tax; checkout may show the amount in your local currency. Paid plans renew every month until you cancel. Only a video that is processed successfully counts against your allowance. Best quality is available for results up to 10 minutes. Results fit within 1920 by 1080 pixels (or 1080 by 1920 for vertical video), and source files can be up to 1 GB.

Extra videos

10 videos for $4.99, tax included, for an active Starter, Pro or Max plan. They are used after your monthly videos, with your plan's limits. If your subscription ends they are kept for 12 months and work again when you subscribe.

How do I speed up a video past 2x in Canva?

Canva's own speed control goes up to 2x. With Video Speeder, open it from the Apps panel, select a video in your design, choose a speed between 2x and 50x and press Speed up. The sped up video replaces the original in your design, or is added as a new element if you turn on Keep original. Other ways past 2x, and how they compare, are in our guide.

Is Video Speeder free?

Yes, the Free plan includes one video a month: videos up to 90 seconds, with a result up to 45 seconds, in Fast quality. You don't need a separate account.

How do I cancel?

In Video Speeder, open Manage Video Speeder subscription and choose Cancel subscription. You can also cancel from Payment method and invoices, or from your Link account at link.com. Your plan keeps working until the end of the month you paid for, then you move to the Free plan.

Can I change my plan?

An upgrade starts right away: you get the new plan's videos at once and the unused part of your current plan is taken off the price. A downgrade starts at the end of the current month.

Do you give refunds?

No, except where the law requires it. The Terms explain when that applies.

Does a failed video use my allowance?

No. Only a video that is processed successfully counts. If you cancel a video after processing has started, it counts as used.

Who takes my payment?

You buy Video Speeder from ObliqueX, and checkout shows our name as ObliqueX. Payments go through Stripe, and Link is the merchant of record: Link sends your receipts, your statement shows LINK.COM, and you can also manage your subscription at link.com. Card details never reach us.

How do I delete my data?

In Video Speeder, choose Delete my Video Speeder data. It deletes your plan, usage, extra videos and history. An active subscription ends right away, with no refund for the rest of the month. Payment records stay with Stripe, as the law requires.

Does my plan follow me to another Canva team?

No. A plan belongs to your Canva account in the team where you bought it. In another team you start on the Free plan.
